Cleaning the oven can challenging. And for good reason – it often difficult to remove grease stains, dirt and food debris. Fortunately, it is possible to restore your oven to its former glory with a few easy-to-follow household tricks.

If you want to regrain cleanliness for your oven, opt for this trick that few know about. All you need is a pan full of water and white vinegar.

How to clean the inside of the oven with a pan full of water?

 

 

This tip is an an alternative to conventional products that are potentially toxic to the environment. It is based on the use of a saucepan that must withstand the heat. Then fill it with hot water and add half a glass of white vinegar and some lemon juice. The latter participates in the cleaning process by acting as an odour absorber.

Then place the utensil in the oven on the middle rack and set the appliance to a temperature of 250 degrees Celsius. Let the steam, white vinegar and lemon juice act inside the appliance for 30 minutes, then turn the appliance off to cool down. Then attack the softened dirt which is now easier to remove with a damp cloth.

Please note that glass, porcelain or plastic pans should be avoided for this trick. Instead, prefer aluminium, stainless steel, cast iron or ceramic ones.
